ABOUT ME /
I grew up in Jackson, Mississippi, where a love for art naturally evolved into a lifelong career in design. My entry point into all things creative was drawing. I would spend hours sketching and dreaming of turning what many thought of as a hobby into a living.
It was no surprise that I entered Jackson State University as an art major, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. In my sophomore year at JSU, I earned a mayoral commendation for contributions during a design internship at the City of Jackson where I produced several promotional materials in support of the Department of Human & Cultural Services.
After graduation, I started my career at an architectural firm, creating in-house branding and marketing materials. A few years later, I moved to San Francisco, California to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at the Academy of Art University. I instantly fell in love with the city—its Mediterranean climate, vibrant diversity, and the intersection of art and tech innovation.
As a grad student, my projects were featured in the Spring and Winter Shows where industry professionals flock to view student work. After earning my degree, I decided to make San Francisco my home.

My career began in graphic design and I then transitioned into user experience with mobile design as my starting point.
